How to Make Payments Above ₹2000 Using UPI

Many users face confusion while making payments above ₹2000 via UPI. This guide explains the correct and safe way to complete high-value payments without any issues.

💠 Understand the ₹2000 Limit

❌ Uploading QR from Gallery has a ₹2000 limit in UPI apps
✔️ Scanning the QR using the camera has NO such limit

✅ Method 1: Using Two Devices (Recommended)

If you have two devices (mobile, laptop, or another phone):

1. Open the QR code on Device 1
2. Open your UPI app on Device 2
3. Use the camera to scan the QR code, just like you do at a restaurant or a retail shop.
4. Complete the payment successfully ✅

👉 There is no ₹2000 limit when scanning via camera

✅ Method 2: Using Wallet (One Device Users)

1. Go to Wallet
   • Click on Wallet topup
2. Add Money in Parts (2000 Max each time)
3. Example:
   • If your product price is ₹3550
     • First, add ₹2000 to the wallet
     • Then, add ₹1550 to the wallet
     • Your wallet balance should now be ₹3550.
4. Checkout Using Wallet Balance
   • Go back to the product page
   • Add the product to the cart
   • Proceed to Checkout
   • Select Wallet pay
5. Complete the payment successfully ✅

With this method, you can place orders above ₹2000 using just one device. Simply load your wallet in ₹2000 parts using the “Upload from Gallery” option in UPI apps, then complete the checkout using your wallet balance.
